General Rules for All Spandex Blends

Nylon Spandex

Washing: Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water, or hand wash.

Drying: Air dry flat or hang; avoid tumble dryers.

Special Note: Avoid contact with rough surfaces to prevent pilling or snags.
✨ Velvet Spandex

Washing: Hand wash in cold water is best to protect the pile (texture). If using a machine, place inside a mesh laundry bag and use delicate cycle.

Drying: Lay flat to dry. Never hang (may stretch). Avoid pressing or ironing.

Special Note: Do not crush or fold tightly to maintain velvet texture.
Glitter Spandex

Washing: Hand wash only in cold water. Glitter may shed in the wash, especially in machines.

Drying: Lay flat to dry. Keep away from direct sunlight (can dull the glitter).

Special Note: Avoid rubbing or wringing; glitter coatings are delicate and can flake off.
Metallic Spandex
